Somewhat Grumpy Press is accepting all types of work, including manuscript evaluations, editing, and publishing projects. We review and edit book-length and short work, fiction and non-fiction, regardless of whether you plan to publish with us.

We are a hybrid publisher, which means we do not purchase manuscripts. Instead, we assist authors publish their work. The cost and services depend on what assistance is desired. For example, we can purchase a professionally designed cover for you, design one in-house, or use a cover you have designed. We’ll work with you to determine what services meet your needs and your budget.
