Two Years Old!

Recycled Virgin, the first book from Somewhat Grumpy Press, was published in February of 2020. So, Happy Second Bookiversary to the book and its author DA Brown, and Happy Second Birthday to Somewhat Grumpy Press.

That first publication was originally available only through Amazon, but we now have our eBook and paperback titles available through multiple online retailers, books can be ordered at almost any bookstore, and our paperbacks are available locally at Dartmouth Book Exchange, Carrefour Atlantic, Coles Scotia Square, and Chapters Bayer’s Lake. Our editing portfolio includes a cozy mystery and a children’s rights manual. We even have mugs and t-shirts!

Of course we are celebrating this. First, there’s a book giveaway. A recent Twitter poll indicted people would rather we did four giveaways of one book than one giveaway of four books. The sample size was small, and I’m not sure how statistically valid Twitter polls are at the best of times, but four giveaways of one book is what we are doing.

Here’s how to enter:

Regardless of how you enter, your name is only entered once – multiple entries does not increase your odds of winning. Winners must be over eighteen and will be asked to supply mailing addresses for delivery. Draws for all four books and their winners will be at the end of February, and winners will be sent their first or second choice.
